The council of Pantang Abokobi Zongo, under the leadership of Dr. Alhaji Yussif Iddris Madingo, organized a prayer and Iftar dinner to foster unity among the people of Pantang Abokobi and its surrounding communities. The event, held during the holy month of Ramadan, drew numerous chiefs from far and wide.
Sheikh Imam Umar Farauq, Chief Imam of Pantang PNT, offered prayers for the late Sheikh Mohammed, former Chief Imam of Pantang, and thanked Dr. Alhaji Yussif Madingo for bringing people together. Imam Umar emphasized the importance of cultivating the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) by feeding those who fast and urged Muslims to adopt good manners to help the needy.
Oboya Zakaria Tahiru Kuta III Zorsimdi Naa I, head of Chamba, thanked participants and praised the initiative, acknowledging Dr. Alhaji Yussif Madingo's contributions to Chamba communities in Ghana.
Dr. Alhaji Yussif Madingo expressed gratitude to attendees and called on Muslims to remain united, supporting one another and wishing everyone Ramadan Kareem.
