Senegal who are the champions of African on Monday evening, 21 November, started their campaign at the 2022 World Cup on a disappointing style losing 2-0 against the Netherlands.
They played well in the first half of the game, but lost concentration in the second half and conceded two goals.
Cody Gakpo scored the first goal for Senegal in the 84th minute, while Davy Klaassen netted the second goal at the death.
