Hearts of Oak head coach Slavko Matic believes his side are not far from the level he wants them to play but they can only get better with hard work.
Since he took over the club, the Phobians have won two games and moved into the top half of the Ghana Premier League.
They defeated Bibiani GoldStars 2-1 at home, thanks to late goals from Isaac Mensah and Gladson Awako, before defeating Kotoku Royals 1-0 last weekend.
“We are still working on our team's progress. There is more to be done and it is only hard work that will get us there,” he said after the game.
“The opponent created some decent chances but the good thing is that we prevented them from scoring and fought till the end."
After five games in the league, Hearts are five points behind Aduana Stars who occupy the top spot.
Hearts of Oak will be looking for their third victory this weekend when they host Karela United.
