Chieftaincy issues has been one of the major issues communities in Ghana are facing. Leadership is a “Calling” and not a play ground whereby you force yourself on the people unless you seek the mandate of the people, authorities(Ga Traditional Council) and some opinion leaders of that particular community. Knowing very well that there are rules to comply with by following due process and not going contrary with the tradition which is very sacred.
The leadership of the Zabarma Community in Ghana has been the major topic of discussion which has kept majority of the people in absolute darkness. As the saying goes “Let’s Call A Spade, A Spade”, Ga Traditional Council(Otublohum Mantse) have a key role to play in this situation in other to clear the air and avoid doubts about the “LEGITIMATE” holder of this position to lead the “Zabarma People”. It has been clearly stated based on records that “ALHAJI MUSAH YAHAYA YANDU III” is the “HEAD OF ABEKA ZABARMA COMMUNITY” by the “GA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL ” since “12th MARCH 2000” whiles declaring “ALHAJI PRO UMAR TANKO”(ZARMAI BON KWEINO I) as the “ZABARMA CHIEF OF GREATER ACCRA REGION” on “20th MARCH 2020”. The Acting President of the Ga Traditional Council (Otublohum Mantse) “NII DOODO NSAKI II” hereby entreat each and everyone to abide and adhere to statements issued to avoid any further issues. Also full cooperation is indeed needed by both “CHIEFS” to ensure peaceful coexistence, settling of disputes and maintaining law and order. Furthermore, everyone is advised to debunk all write ups and rumors of any self acclaimed title other than the above mentioned because it will be an insult or total disrespect to the “GA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL “.
